e-Research Briefing

The e-Research Briefing is a free service provided by the National Heart Forum.

The NHF e-Research Briefing is an email newsletter, which is sent out on alternate Thursdays.

Please note that we are currenltly unable to admit new subscribers to the mailing list. The list will re-open at the beginning of April 2011. For more information please see How to subscibe below.

The e-Research Briefing differs from the e-News Briefing, as it focuses solely on recently published research into the fields of public health and avoidable chronic disease. The e-News Briefing covers stories which have featured in the mainstream press each week. The e-Research Briefing exists only to highlight new research. The NHF does not provide access to full text of journal articles through the e-Research Briefing.

The Briefings will be of interest to all those working or studying in the public health field.

Topics covered by the e-Research Briefing include:

  • Obesity
  • Physical activity
  • Stroke
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Nutrition
  • Hypertension
  • Built environment
  • Public health and climate change
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco regulation

Archive

An archive of Word document versions of the e-News and e-Research Briefings is available to download from the NHF Briefings Archive page.
